The Bemi Cognita Tab 6e is a lightweight and handy solution for reading books and listening to audiobooks, designed for those who value simple operation combined with advanced e-reader features!

At the heart of the Cognita Tab 6e is a quad-core Cortex-A35 processor with 1GB of RAM.

The e-reader features a 6” E Ink screen with Carta technology, a built-in touch panel and smart LED backlighting with colour adjustment. It impresses with its practicality, ease of touch operation, lightness and versatility.

The 32GB internal storage can hold a whole host of books – forget about suitcases weighed down by them.

If you need more space, the Cognita Tab 6e also features a microSD card reader supporting cards up to 256GB.

The built-in Wi-Fi 5, 2.4G/5G module makes it easy to connect to the internet and allows for wireless file transfers.

E-ink screen

Thanks to the 6” screen featuring the latest E-Ink Carta technology, reading is a real pleasure. The new screen offers better contrast and a whiter background. Thanks to improved refresh rates, you can read more pages without any loss of quality and without the ‘screen flickering’ effect.

The E-Ink screen, with a 16-level greyscale, mimics the effect of traditional printing on paper. The 1024x758 resolution and 212 ppi ensure super-comfortable reading without eye strain. The text is clear and easy to read.

Touchscreen with anti-glare coating

The Cognity Tab 6e’s touchscreen is coated with a special anti-glare coating, allowing you to read books even in direct sunlight. The touchscreen ensures intuitive, easy operation of the device.

Screen backlight

The Bemi Cognita Tab 6e features built-in smart LED backlighting, allowing you to adjust not only the brightness but also the colour.

The e-reader features a set of LEDs emitting both cool and warm light (blue and yellow).

Depending on your preferences, you can ‘mix’ the colours to create your own custom setting.

Book formats

The Cognita Tab 6e supports most available e-book formats, such as: PDF (Reflow), epub, epub.zip, MOBI (Mobipocket), FB2, FB2.ZIP, AZW, AZW3, DOC, DOCX, TXT, TXT.ZIP, DJVU, RTF, HTM, HTML.

The reader also supports comic book formats: CBR and CBZ.

Additionally, it displays image files in the following formats: JPG, BMP, PNG, and audio files: mp3, OGG, FLAC, WAV, AAC, M4A.

PDF Reflow

The Cognita Tab 6e supports the very useful Reflow feature for PDF files. Reflow breaks down the content of a PDF file so that it can be read as text, just like in an ePub or FB2 file. The text automatically adjusts to the page size, making reading a pleasant and comfortable experience. You can also zoom in on the text, which isn’t possible when reading the original PDF file.

TTS – text-to-speech

TTS – short for ‘text to speech’ – is a speech synthesiser, or a feature that converts written text into sound. Thanks to this feature, the Cognita Tab 6e allows you to turn a book you’re reading into an audiobook.

This feature is particularly useful for people who enjoy listening to audiobooks, wish to expand their knowledge or language skills, or want to multitask whilst enjoying their books.

The Cognita Tab 6e supports text-to-speech in 24 languages, including: Polish, English, Danish, Finnish, French, Hindi, Bengali, Spanish, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Dutch, German, Norwegian, Portuguese, Russian, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Vietnamese, Hungarian, Italian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese.

Dictionary/Translator

The Cognita Tab 6e features built-in dictionary functions (Stardict format) and a translator with a wide range of languages to choose from. The translator supports the translation of individual words as well as entire paragraphs or pages.

The device also allows you to look up words on Wikipedia.

Book library

The Cognita Tab 6e allows you to view your library as tiles with book covers or as a list of files, both in the internal memory and on a memory card if one has been inserted into the reader.

The e-reader allows you to create your own shelf, a password-protected ‘Personal Space’, where you can store your favourite books, inaccessible to others who have access to the device.

In addition to the book/file name, you can view the file format (list) and the percentage of the book read.

The library can be viewed by category: Library, Added, Reading, Read and Unread.

Additionally, you can sort the library, perform batch operations, create a new folder, search for a book or view reading statistics.

Reading features

The Cognita Tab 6e offers an extensive list of advanced features and settings available whilst reading books.

Cognita Tab 6e allows us to underline, add highlights and circle text.

Not every feature is available for every file format.

Footnotes

Cognita Tab 6e conveniently supports the footnotes feature. If a book has footnotes, you can jump to the footnote text with a single tap.

Battery life

The Bemi Cognita Tab 6e has a built-in 2200mAh battery. When fully charged, the device can operate for up to 5 weeks*.

*Under the following conditions: half an hour of reading per day, 30 seconds average page-turn time, backlight set to the lowest level, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth turned off, sleep and auto-off times set to the shortest settings.
