The Bemi Cognita Tab 8 Pro is a lightweight and, despite its large screen, handy solution for reading books and listening to audiobooks for those who value simple operation with advanced large format e-reader features.

Cognita Tab 8 Pro supports the Legimi and Empik Go apps!

At the heart of the Cognita Tab 8 Pro is a Cortex-A55 quad-core processor with 3GB of RAM!

The reader has a 7.8" e-ink screen with Carta technology, a built-in touch panel and smart LED backlighting with colour adjustment. It impresses with its practicality, ease of touch operation, lightness and versatility.

The 32GB internal memory can hold a whole lot of books – forget about heavy suitcases.

If you need more space, the Cognita Tab 8 Pro also has a microSD card reader that supports cards with a capacity of up to 256GB.

The built-in Wi-Fi 5, 2.4G/5G module makes it easy to connect and transfer files without a cable wherever you need it.

The Bluetooth module is the perfect partner if you want to listen to audiobooks or music.

Thanks to the open Android 11 system, you can download other applications for reading books, listening to audiobooks or news channels.

Large format

The reader has a 7.8" e-ink screen with a 16-step grey scale, which imitates the effect of traditional paper printing. The resolution of 1872 x 1404 pixels (300 ppi) ensures super comfortable reading in large format without eye strain. It is comfortable to read books, publications or diagrams with a lot of detail. The text is clear and easy to read.

Thanks to the latest E-Ink Carta technology, the screen has better contrast and a whiter background. Improved refresh rate allows you to read more pages without losing quality and without the "screen flicker" effect.

Touch panel with anti-reflective coating

The Cognity Tab 8 Pro touch panel is covered with a special anti-reflective coating, allowing you to read books even in direct sunlight. The touch screen ensures intuitive, easy operation of the device.

The touch key at the bottom of the panel allows you to quickly return to the previous menu or close the function window.

Built-in 2 speakers

The Cognita Tab 8 Pro also has 2 built-in 1W stereo speakers to make listening to music or audiobooks even easier and more enjoyable.

Screen backlight

The Bemi Cognita Tab 8 Pro has built-in smart LED backlighting that allows you to adjust not only the brightness but also the colour.

The reader has a set of cold and warm light LEDs (blue and yellow).

The reader also supports comic book formats: CBR and CBZ.

PDF Reflow

Cognita Tab 8 Pro supports the very useful Reflow function for PDF files. Reflow breaks down the content of a PDF file so that it can be read as text, just like in an epub or fb2 file. The text automatically adjusts to the page size, making reading pleasant and comfortable. The text can also be enlarged, which is not possible when reading the original PDF file.

TTS – text to speech

TTS – text to speech – is a speech synthesiser or a function that converts written text into sound. Thanks to this function, Cognita Tab 8 Pro allows you to turn a book you are reading into an audiobook.

This feature is particularly useful for people who enjoy listening to audiobooks, want to deepen their knowledge and language skills, or want to multitask while enjoying their books.

Cognita Tab 8 Pro supports speech synthesis in 24 languages, including Polish, English, Danish, Finnish, French, Hindi, Bengali, Spanish, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Dutch, German, Norwegian, Portuguese, Russian, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Vietnamese, Hungarian, Italian, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.

Dictionary/Translator

Cognita Tab 8 Pro has built-in dictionary functions (stardict format) and a translator with many languages to choose from. The translator supports the translation of single words as well as entire paragraphs or pages.

The device also allows you to look up words in Wikipedia.

Book library

Cognita Tab 8 Pro allows you to display your library as tiles with book covers or a list of files, both in the internal memory and on a memory card if it is inserted in the reader.

The reader has the option of creating your own shelf, a password-protected personal space where you can store your favourite books, without access by other people who have access to the device.

In addition to the name of the book/file, you can view the file format (list) and the percentage of the book read.

The library can be displayed by category: Library, Added, Read, Read and Unread.

Additionally, the library can be sorted, batch actions can be performed, a new folder can be created, a book can be searched for, or reading statistics can be viewed.
