The Bemi Cognita Tab 6 is a lightweight and handy solution for reading books and listening to audiobooks for those who value simple operation without sacrificing the advanced features of an e-reader!

At the heart of the Cognita Tab 6 is a Cortex-A35 quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM.

The reader has a 6" e-ink screen with Carta technology, a built-in touch panel and smart LED backlighting with colour adjustment. It impresses with its practicality, ease of touch operation, lightness and versatility.

The 32GB internal memory can hold a whole lot of books – forget about heavy suitcases.

If you need more space, the Cognita Tab 6 also has a microSD card reader that supports cards with a capacity of up to 256GB.

The built-in Wi-Fi module makes it easy to connect to the Internet and transfer files without using a cable.

The Bluetooth module is the perfect partner if you want to listen to audiobooks or music.

Thanks to the open Android 8.1 system, you can download other applications for reading books, listening to audiobooks or news channels.

The Cognita Tab 6 is handy thanks to its small size, only 9 mm thick and weighing 185 g. You can always have it with you. Whether you are travelling far or near, taking a break from school or work, or relaxing on your comfortable sofa at home, it will prove itself in all circumstances.

E-ink screen

Thanks to the 6" screen with the latest E-Ink Carta technology, reading is a pure pleasure. The new screen has better contrast and a whiter background. Thanks to improved refresh rates, you can read more pages without losing quality and without the "screen flicker" effect.

The e-ink screen with a 16-step grey scale imitates the effect of traditional paper printing. The resolution of 1024x758, 212 ppi ensures super comfortable reading without eye strain. The text is clear and easy to read.

Touch panel with anti-reflective coating

The Cognity Tab 6 touch panel is covered with a special anti-reflective coating, allowing you to read books even in bright sunlight. The touch screen ensures intuitive, easy operation of the device.

The button at the bottom of the panel allows you to quickly return to the previous menu or close the function window.

Screen backlight

The Bemi Cognita Tab 6 has a built-in smart LED backlight that allows you to adjust not only the brightness but also the colour.

The reader has a set of cold and warm light LEDs (blue and yellow).

Depending on your preferences, you can "mix" colours to create your own composition.

In addition, the reader has default settings for reading during the day, at night and in bed.

Bluetooth

The built-in Bluetooth feature makes it easy to connect the Cognita Tab 6 to wireless headphones or speakers. Enjoy cable-free operation by pairing with audio devices to listen to audiobooks, music or podcasts on the go or at home.

File Transfer

With file transfer options via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or USB cable, the Cognita Tab 6 allows you to quickly and easily import your favourite books, documents and multimedia files. Simply connect to your computer or use a Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connection for seamless synchronisation.

Book formats

The Cognita Tab 6 supports most available e-book formats, such as PDF (Reflow), epub, MOBI (mobipocket), FB2, FB2.ZIP, AZW, AZW3, CHM, PRC, DOC, DOCX, TXT, HTM, HTML, and RTF.

Additionally, it displays image files in the following formats: JPG, BMP, PNG, and audio files: mp3, OGG, FLAC, WAV, AAC.

PDF Reflow

Cognita Tab 6 supports the very useful Reflow function for PDF files. Reflow breaks down the content of a PDF file so that it can be read as text, just like in an epub or fb2 file. The text automatically adjusts to the page size, making reading pleasant and comfortable. The text can also be enlarged, which is not possible when reading the original PDF file.

TTS – text to speech

TTS – text to speech – is a speech synthesiser or a function that converts written text into sound. Thanks to this function, Cognita Tab 6 allows you to turn a book you are reading into an audiobook.

This function is particularly useful for people who like to listen to audiobooks, want to deepen their knowledge and language skills, or want to multitask while enjoying their books.

Cognita Tab 6 supports speech synthesis in 10 languages: Polish, English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Japanese and Korean.

Dictionary/Translator

Cognita Tab 6 has built-in dictionary functions (stardict format) and a translator with multiple languages to choose from. The translator supports the translation of single words as well as entire paragraphs or pages.

The device also allows you to look up words in Wikipedia.

Book library

Cognita Tab 6 allows you to view your library as tiles with book covers or a list of files, both in the internal memory and on a memory card if it has been inserted into the reader.

In addition to the name of the book/file, you can view the file format (list) and the percentage of the book read.

The library can be displayed by category: All books, Recently read, Recently added, Read and Unread.

Additionally, you can sort the library, perform batch operations, create a new folder, search for a book or refresh the library directly from the home screen.

Reading functions

Cognita Tab 6 has an extensive list of features and settings available while reading books, similar to advanced e-readers on the market.

The following functions are available:

Dictionary, Translator, Wikipedia, Glossary, TTS, Background change mode, Refresh mode, Reading time reminder, Progress format.

The following settings are available:

Word selection, Selected text, Add bookmark, About the book, Bookmark list, Table of contents, Go to page, Search, Zoom, Contrast, Reflow, Font size, Font type, Line spacing, Margins, Rotate screen, Auto page turn.

Not all features are available for every file format.

Footnotes

Cognita Tab 6 conveniently supports footnotes. If a book has footnotes, you can go to the footnote text with a single tap.

Battery life

Bemi Cognita Tab 6 has a built-in 1900mAh battery. When fully charged, the device can operate for up to 4 weeks*.

*Under the following conditions: half an hour of reading per day, 30 seconds average page turn time, backlight set to the lowest level, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth turned off, shortest sleep and auto-off time set.
